Chakras are wheels of energy that regulate the flow of consciousness into and from the human body. There refer to energy points in the body which correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs and areas of our energetic body that impact our emotional and physical well-being.
Chakras spin at different speeds, each emitting a different vibrational frequency. Chakras can be blocked or hold stagnant energy which can create disturbances in the flow of energy leading to disease and emotional unbalance. The health of our chakras can determine physical, emotional and spriritual development.

There are many methods for balancing your chakras such as reiki, meditation, yoga, aromatherapy, exercise, gemstones to name a few. A deficient chakra needs to receive energy and a blocked chakra needs to have energy released and reiki can be a very gentle and effective method for achieving this.
